Blogs: The Life of a 1L

So what is it like to be a first-year law student? This is a question you need not ask. In an effort to share this experience with you, we have asked a group of first-year law students to chronicle their first year of law school in the form of a blog.

This year's group is comprised of five full-time day students and two part-time evening students. Each of these students, coming from different backgrounds and different life circumstances, have found themselves in the same place – likely for different reasons and different motivations. We have asked them to be forthcoming, upfront, and honest about their experiences as they share with you the rigors, challenges, and successes they experience during their first year of law school.

We invite you to check in weekly to follow and even cheer them on as they journey through the 1L experience.

Blogs: 2L and Beyond

Is there life after the first year of law school? Follow our blogs to find out!

This year, we have asked a group of upper-division law students to chronicle the trials and tribulations of their second year of law school. You’ll see some familiar faces and get to know some new ones as well. This group is comprised of two full-time day students and one part-time evening student, all of whom have blogged for us last year, their first at Texas Wesleyan Law. You will also get a chance to hear from two new bloggers – a full-time day student and part-time day student – both in their second year of law school.

We invite you to check in bi-weekly to follow their continuing journey throughout law school, as they balance work, home, family, and friends with their legal studies.
