Tuition for 2009-10

The School of Law operates on a block tuition policy. Tuition and general fees vary by course load. For 2009-10, the tuition schedule is as follows:

    • 13-16 hours - $12,625
    • 9-12 hours - $8,950
    • 8 hours and below - $845 per hour
    • Application fee - $55
    • Late registration fee - $25
    • Graduation fee - $140
    • Other fees - $375 per semester; $190 per summer term

Thus, a first-year full-time program of 31 hours (16 hours in the fall term, 15 hours in the spring term) would cost $26,000 (including fees); a first-year part-time program of 19 hours (10 hours in the fall term, 9 hours in the spring term) would cost $18,650 (including fees). Students can expect tuition and fees to increase during law school attendance.
