Jeffrey Poster is the coach for the American Bar Association Student Arbitration Competition. He has degrees from Brandeis University (B.A., 1964), Cornell University (M.P.A. 1967) and Suffolk University. After a 25-year career litigation career, he retired from law practice in 2006 to concentrate on arbitration and mediation full time. He has trained in mediation in California and Texas and has undertaken arbitration and training from the American Bar Association and Pepperdine University among other courses. He has also instructed health care law and health care liability as an adjunct professor at the University of Texas at Arlington; he instructs in civil mediation and family law mediation at the Dispute Resolution Service of North Texas and the Dispute Mediation Service of Dallas County.
