In recognition of their research and teaching needs, circulation policies are liberal for Texas Wesleyan Law School
faculty. Regular faculty may check out any item held by the Law Library with no limit on the number of items that may be checked out simultaneously. Loan periods for Law School faculty members are one year from the date of initial check-out with one renewal allowed. Adjunct faculty may also check out any item held by the Law Library but the loan period ends at the close of the semester in which they are teaching. If the Law Library recalls an item, it should be returned promptly; the recall means that someone else needs it for research purposes.
In support of faculty scholarship and teaching, items that the law library does not own may be borrowed from other libraries using our interlibrary loan service. Before submitting a request, please search the online catalog to verify that the law library does not already own the material. If the library does not own the item, you may then create an interlibrary loan request. To learn how make the request please visit the ILLiad Instructions page.
If a faculty member needs a particular title for indefinite use, the Library may be able to provide an office copy. Faculty members interested in obtaining an office copy of a title should contact
